This section describes how to install the Ribbon DSC Platform.
The installation procedures are provided in sequence. It is recommended that you follow the same sequence to ensure that after installation the DSC Platform functions as expected.
This section provides some Caution and Warning notes as reminders about safety when installing and operating the DSC Platform. However, to understand and perform all of the required safety precautions to avoid injury, and to prevent damage to this product or any products that the system is connected to, review Agency Approvals and Safety
Depending on your company’s policy regarding equipment installation, the DSC Platform installation should be done by appropriately trained personnel who have the proper tools and mounting hardware and are familiar with standard safety and mechanical procedures with rack-mounted systems for the Telecommunications industry. A trained installer from Ribbon is available to assist with the installation of the DSC Platform.
