In this section:
This object displays the user-configured LI Call Data Control Channel.
To view the Call Data Channel, log on as a "Calea" user. For more information, refer to Users and Application Management - User and Session Management.
On the SBC main screen, navigate to Configuration > Intercept > Call Data Channel.
The Call Data Channel can be checked for default Address Context. Use the drop-down box to select the default Address Context and open the Call Data Channel window.
To edit any of the Call Data Channels in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Call Data Channel name. This opens the Edit Selected Call Data Channel window.
Make the required changes and then click Save.
To create a new Call Data Channel, click the New Call Data Channel tab on the Call Data Channel List panel. This opens the Create New Call Data Channel window.
The displayed fields depend on the values selected for Intercept Standard and Vendor ID fields. If a parameter is visible, then it is supported for that LI configuration.
Before proceeding to create an LI configuration, note the following LI flavors and configuration, which are possible with different combinations of Intercept Standard and parameter values.
Configuration Settings | LI Flavor/Characteristic | |
---|---|---|
Intercept Standard | Vendor ID | |
Packetcable | None/Group Two Thousand/Utimaco/Verint | Legacy LI (default) |
Packetcable | Ss8 | PCSI LI |
Three Gpp/Etsi | None/Group Two Thousand/Utimaco/Verint | IMS LI |
Refer to Intercept Flavors and Configuration Details to set the value for the desired configuration. For example, select Packetcable as the Intercept Standard and Ss8 as the Vendor ID to set PCSI LI configuration.

|
SIP Trunk Group Supported List Sip Trunk Group Exempted List | Trunk Groups with CALEA-compliant lawful intercept (LI) rules may intercept a call on each leg of the call. To prevent this, you can identify a specified leg of a relevant trunk group (TG) to either a Supported TG List, or to an Exempted TG List, assuring that calls are only intercepted once. These are mutually exclusive lists, and entries can only appear on one list, never both. Entries on these lists are leaf references to SIP TGs that apply across the entire system, and will apply to all Select pre-configured trunk groups from the drop-down menu. Modified: for 12.1.4 |
The user calea with the role "Calea" is not allowed to perform the "Copy" operation.
If the Call Data Channel which you wish to delete is configured for PCSI or IMS, then ensure the following before performing this procedure.
Refer Media - TCP and Media - UDP and Media - TLS to edit media profile and Mediation Server - Signaling to edit signaling.
To delete any of the created Call Data Channel, click the radio button next to the specific Call Data Channel.
