Usage of the Easy Config wizard to configure the SBC 1000 does not modify existing configuration. The wizard will simply add the new configuration elements to the SBC 1000.
Configuring FXO with Skype for Business/Lync is available on the SBC 1000 only.
SBC Easy Configuration supports IPv4 only, not IPv6.
The Sonus SBC 1000 Easy Config interface includes a built-in step-by-step setup configuration wizard, which enables end-users to quickly deploy Sonus SBC 1000 in an Enterprise's Skype for Business / Lync environment for an analog FXO configuration.
Step 1 - Configure Scenario
These instructions assume the SBC Easy Config wizard is running. See Running Easy Configuration Wizard.
Select the Application type (FXO↔ Skype for Business/Lync). Enter the scenario configuration details based on your deployment settings. Once completed, click Next to move to Step 2 (or Cancel to return to the main WebUI screen).

Step 1
Application
The scenario in which the configuration template is provided. In this case, select FXO ↔ Skype for Business/Lync.
Scenario Description
Enter the name to describe FXO ↔ Skype for Business/Lync. setup.
This value will be prefixed on all the SBC 1000 configuration elements created by the Setup Wizard pertaining to this deployment.
Telephone Country
The country in which the FXO ↔ Skype for Business/Lync originated.
Emergency Services
The E911 Elin number from the "CompanyName" field configured in Lync location services is used as the authoritative Call Back number for outgoing E911 calls, and is always the preferred configuration. Specifically, it will take precedence over any Callback Number number configuration in Lync Setup. For more information, see Creating and Modifying Entries to Transformation Tables.
Defines the Emergency Services for outgoing numbers. For the purpose of this illustration above, Emergency Services is not selected. Field definitions are defined below.
Options: ELIN Identifier, E911/E112 or None.
Emergency Callback Number 1
Call Back Number in string format. This field is displayed only when ELIN Identifier or E911/E112 is selected from Emergency Services.
Emergency Callback Number 2
Second Call Back Number in string format. This field is displayed only when ELIN Identifier or E911/E112 is selected from Emergency Services.
PSAP Number
Defines the Public Safety Answering Point Number. Valid entry 1 - 127 characters.
FXO
Sets Provider Type to FXO. This is a fixed value.
Microsoft UC
Defines the version of Microsoft UC. Valid options: Skype for Business or Lync 2010/2013.
Step 2 - Configure Provider and User Side Information
Enter the scenario configuration details based on the endpoint selected. Once completed, click Next to move to Step 3 (or Previous to return to the previous screen).

Calibrate FXO Ports
Enables/disables FXO Port calibration.
FXO Port Calibration function determines the optimum impedance and the local loop type settings and configures each selected port accordingly, which eliminates impedance mismatching. Impedance mismatching results in audible echos on the line and reduced call quality. Correctly matching the line impedance reduces or eliminates the echo. A number of factors influence the line impedance; line types which vary from country to country and vary between geographic regions, as well as the distance between the node and the central office.
Options: Yes (FXO port calibration is executed) or No (FXO port calibration is not executed).
Caller ID Type
Specifies the Caller ID Type for the signaling group used with the signaling group.
Not all countries are standardized on which Caller ID Type they use. This list contains suggested types for certain countries, and some countries use multiple types. If the Caller ID Type listed here for your country, you may need to contact your local service provider.

FXO Ports
The physical FXO port number to which the FXO line is physically connected. FXO port entries are configured with the following command buttons: Up (move a port up in the list), Down (move a port down in the list), Add (adds a port), and Remove (deletes a port).
For example, click Add. Select the desired FXO port and OK.

Phone Number
The phone number associated with the FXO port.
Server Pool Host
The Pool name of the Skype for Business / Lync Server (FQDN).
Protocol
The IP protocol to use for sending and receiving SIP messages between SBC 1000 and the Server Pool Host. Valid entry: TLS or TCP.
Port Number
The Port Number (via TLS) used for sending and receiving SIP messages between SBC 1000 and the Server Pool Host.
Step 3 - Confirm and Submit Configuration
This steps displays a summary of the configuration items from Step 1 and Step 2. Click Finish to submit (to cancel the configuration, click Cancel).
This example displays a FXO ↔ Skype for Business/Lync setup.
