Generate a SWe Edge License Key

Order a License

Start

  1. A software license must be purchased from
    Spacevars
    0company
    Sales. To purchase a license, contact Ribbon as follows:
    1. Contact a Ribbon Partner.
    2. Contact Sales and Support: 1-833-742-2661.
    3. Fill out the Contact Form (go to https://ribboncommunications.com and click Contact).
  2. Once you purchase complete the license, you will receive further instructions from order,

    sends you further instructions via email.
    1. For SWe Edge
      Spacevars
      0product4
      licensing, the instructions explain how to access the licensing self-service portal which you will then use to generate a SWe Edge license key. You later use the key to install the
      Spacevars
      0product4
      license.
    2. For Router licensing,

      ships the product with the appropriate Router license installed if this is a new installation. For an upgrade or an RMA action,
      Spacevars

      sends the license key once you complete the purchase orderRouter license, which must be installed.
    3. For Analog licensing,

      always ships the product with the appropriate Analog license installed and activated. No further additional action is required for Analog licensing.

Generate a SWe Edge License Key

Start

  1. Locate and record the SBC SWe Edge ID from your device.
    1. From the System tab of the
      Spacevars
      0product4
      WebUI, click the Overview tab.
    2. Record the SWe Lite ID number. This serves as the SWe Edge ID.
  2. Access the
    Spacevars
    0company
    Self-Service Licensing and Download Portal and enter credentials.
  3. Click Generate License Key.
  4. Click Configuration.
  5. Enter the SBC SWe Edge  ID in the UUID#1 field and click Generate.
    Within 24 hours, you will receive an email (check spam folder) with an attachment.
  6. Save the file attachment, which is the license key in .XML format.
    This is the license key you will need for the license installation.
