Use this workflow for the initial setup of your new Edge 8000 Series device. This workflow applies to all Edge 8000 Series devices.
This workflow references procedures within the Edge 8000 document suite as well as procedures from other Ribbon collections, such as the SBC SWe Edge document suite and the RAMP document suite.

Notes:
The Edge 8000 device comes factory-installed with an on-premise, virtual machine (VM) version of SBC SWe Edge. Follow the instructions in Obtaining and Installing an SBC SWe Edge Production Node-Locked License to order a production license for an on-premise VM license, then generate and install the license per the procedure given in that document.
