In this section:
The following must be executed prior to installing SBC SWe Lite on Microsoft Hyper-V:
Disable the VLAN and VM Queues to improve network performance.
Refer to Microsoft TechNet for additional details about Microsoft Hyper-V installed on a host or hosts allocated for the
Click Import Virtual Machine link in the Actions pane, and then click Next.
Click Browse from the Locate Folder dialog box and then navigate to the VM Packages folder.
Select the desired folder, and then click Select Folder.
Select the VM to import from the Select Virtual Machine dialog box, and then click Next.
Select Copy the virtual machine (create a new unique ID) option, and then click Next.
The default settings are displayed in the Choose Destination dialog box. Leave all locations in the default state, and click Next.
Click Browse from the Choose Storage Folders dialog box and navigate to the folder that will contain the virtual hard disks.
From the Choose Storage Folders dialog box, locate the folder and then click Select Folder.
Click Next, and then click Finish.
After the image is copied, rename the VM with the intended

Repeat steps 14-16 for the remaining four adapters.
Click OK to save and exit the Settings window.
Right click on the VM name and then select Start.
Double-click on the VM name to monitor the startup progress and identify the initial Admin IP address.
Launch a browser.
Enter the default IP address and press Enter to launch the
Configure the System Information, IP address, Local Users and Connectivity Information panes as shown below, using the appropriate values for your location.
Change the default Admin IP to a Static IP address, and click Apply to save the Initial Sonus SBC Setup.
From a Web browser, enter the static Admin IP address identified from the previous step to open the
Configure the node as needed – refer to Running Initial Setup.
To prevent time drift, you must manually set an NTP time source during the initial configuration. Instructions are located at Configuring an NTP Time Source.
