To create or modify an existing OSPF Router Instance:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to Protocols > IP > Router Instances.

Modifying a OSPF Router Instance

  1. Click the expand () Icon next to the entry you wish to modify.
  2. Edit the entry properties as required, see details below.

Creating an OSPF Router Instance

The SBC supports IPv4 addresses for this feature; IPv6 is not supported.

To create an OSPF router instance:

  1. Click the Create OSPF link at the top of the Router Instance Table.

OSPF Instance - Field Definitions

OSPF Router Instance Name

Specifies a name for this OSPF router instance.

Router ID

Specifies a router ID in either dotted decimal or decimal format.

Admin State

Specifies the administrative state of the instance.

Process ID

Specifies a process ID for this router instance.

Area ID

Specifies a numeric identifier for the OSPF area associated with this instance. The ID is specified in either dotted decimal or plain decimal format.

Area Type

Specifies the OSPF Area created for this router instance.

Advertise Default Route

Specifies whether or not default information originate is enabled or disabled.

Interfaces List

Specifies the interfaces on which the OSPF router instance appears.
