To prioritize and guarantee bandwidth for different types of traffic, network traffic must be grouped into classes of service. The Traffic Shaper - Advanced page allows you to create and modify classes of service on the system and allocate a percentage of bandwidth to each class. By default, there are two preconfigured classes:
- Best Effort at 10% bandwidth
- Expedited Forwarding at 90% bandwidth
Support is available for IPv6 Class of Service and IPv4/IPv6 mixed traffic shaping.
