  1. Connect to the Microsoft Lync 2010 Front End Server.
    There are two methods:
    1. Connect via Remote Desktop, or
    2. Connect via your web browser (https:\\<Server FQDN>\CSCP)
  2. Launch the Lync Server Control panel.

Adding a Dial Plan

  1. Select Voice Routing

    Site Dial Plan

  2. In the New menu, click Site dial plan.

    Select Site Location

  3. Select your Site location.
  4. Click OK.

  5. Click OK.

    Commit All

  6. In the Commit menu, click Commit all

    Commit

  7. Click Commit.
  8. Click Close.

Adding a Voice Policy

New Site Policy

  1. Click the voice Policy Tab
  2. In the New menu, click Site policy.

    Select Site Location

  3. Select the Site location.
  4. Click OK.

    New Associated PSTN Usages

  5. Under Associated PSTN Usages, click New.

    Usage Record Name

  6. In the Name text box, enter a name for the usage record.
  7. Click New.

    Route Name

  8. In the Name text box, enter a name for the route.
  9. Next to the Associated gateways text box, click Add.

    Select Gateway

  10. Select the gateway to associate with the site.
  11. Click OK.

    OK New Route

  12. Click OK.

    Save PSTN Usage Record

     

  13. Click OK to save your PSTN Usage record

    Save Voice Policy

  14. Click OK to save the voice policy.

    Commit All

  15. In the Commit menu, select Commit all.

    Commit

  16. Click Commit.

    Successfully Published

  17. Click Close.

Adding a Trunk Configuration

New Site Trunk

  1. Click the Trunk Configuration tab.
  2. In the New menu, select Site trunk.

    Select Site Location

  3. Select the appropriate site location.
  4. Click OK.

    New Trunk Configuration

  5. Select Enable media bypass.
  6. Click OK to save your selections.

    Commit All

  7. In the Commit manu, select Commit all

    Commit

  8. Click Commit to published the voice routing configuration.

    Successfully Published
