The wizard produces different configuration options depending on the desired deployment:

  • SIP  ↔ Microsoft UC
  • SIP  ↔  ISDN PBX
  • SIP ↔ IP Phones
  • ISDN PSTN ↔ Microsoft UC
  • FXO ↔ Microsoft UC

Use the Easy Configuration Wizard

Note

If the Easy Configuration Wizard is run a second time, it will always create new configuration elements for the scenario being set up. Updates will not be made to the previous configured items.

 

The Easy Configuration Wizard functionality is available through the following two methods:

Run via Initial Setup

Access the Easy Configuration wizard during during Initial Setup:

  1. Configure the desired fields. See Sonus SBC 2000 - Initial Setup or Sonus SBC 1000 - Initial Setup.
  2. From the Easy Setup drop down list, select Launch on First Login.
  3. Click Apply. The Easy Configuration Wizard is presented after login for immediate configuration.
  4. Select the desired template and configure. See Working with SBC Easy Configuration.

Run via Easy Configuration Wizard

If the Easy Setup option is not enabled or configured during the Initial Setup (Sonus SBC 2000 - Initial Setup or Sonus SBC 1000 - Initial Setup) process, it can be accessed through the WebUI Task's tab.

Access the Easy Configuration wizard:

  1. In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
  2. In the left navigation pane, go to SBC Easy Setup > Easy Config Wizard. The Easy Configuration screens open. 
  3. Select the desired template and configure. See Working with SBC Easy Configuration.
