When you enable DHCP relay and point to a valid DHCP server, all DHCP requests are forwarded to that server. Local DHCP and DHCP Relay are mutually exclusive; turning on DHCP Relay automatically turns off local DHCP, and turning on DHCP automatically turns off DHCP Relay.
Use the DHCP Relay page only if DHCP is disabled.

Configuring DHCP Relay IPv4
Choose Network > DHCP Relay.
Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide. When you have finished configuring settings, click Submit to make your changes take effect.
DHCP Relay IPv4 Parameters

Configures DHCP relay for IPv4.
Enable DHCP Relay
Select the checkbox to enable DHCP Relay.
DHCP Relay IP Address
Enter the DHCP server IPv4 address where the system forwards traffic.
DHCP Relay for VLAN ID
If VLAN support is enabled, choose the configured VLAN number from the DHCP Relay for VLAN ID drop-down list.
To enable VLAN support, choose Network > VLAN and refer to Configuring VLAN Settings.
DHCP Relay only supports one VLAN.
Note: If you delete a VLAN, the DHCP Server must be re-enabled for the remaining VLANs.
Configuring DHCP Relay IPv6
- Choose Network > DHCP Relay.
Choose DHCP Relay > V6.
Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide. When you have finished configuring settings, click Submit to make your changes take effect.

Configures DHCP relay for IPv6. By setting the DHCPv6 relay on and pointing to a valid DHCPv6 server, all DHCPv6 requests are forwarded to that server.

Enter the IPv6 address of the DHCP server where the system forwards traffic.
