PRACK and UPDATE | • PRACK—Enabling or disabling this option provides SIP PRACK interoperability support. SIP PRACK interoperability provides B2BUA support to allow an endpoint that does not support PRACK to interoperate with an endpoint that requires PRACK support. When enabled, the system will add Supported: 100rel in the SIP INVITE or add Required: 100rel in the 18X response messages the systems B2BUA sends out. Disabling this option will revert the systems B2BUA to PRACK pass-through support. Default value: Enabled. • UPDATE—Modifies the state of a session without changing the state of the dialog. B2BUA can mediate PRACK and UPDATE signaling between endpoints that require PRACK and UPDATE and endpoints that do not support PRACK and UPDATE. For example, if B2BUA receives an INVITE that requires reliable provisional responses, but the call destination does not support reliable provisional responses, B2BUA will generate reliable provisional responses and will also handle the retransmission of reliable provisional responses. Similarly B2BUA will always indicate support for reliable provisional responses even if the calling party does not indicate it. This way the recipient can choose to the send provisional responses reliably or unreliably. |

Configure B2BUA Trunking
The B2BUA Trunking Configuration page is divided into sections. Each section may have an Update button at the end. Clicking this button applies the changes to the local cache; it does not affect the EdgeMarc. To send configuration changes to the EdgeMarc, click Submit at the end of the page.
- Choose VoIP > SIP > B2BUA to open the B2BUA Trunking Configuration page.
