The SBC SWe Edge supports the Teams Direct Routing Virtual Survivable Branch Appliance (vSBA). The vSBA allows users to make and receive Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) calls when there is an outage.
The SBC SWe Edge manages the Direct Routing vSBA that is hosted on one of the Windows VMs on your hypervisor. You can use the SBC SWe Edge Web UI to manage the Direct Routing vSBA.
Note
The hypervisor must support Windows Server 2019.
This feature is not backward compatible. It requires the latest versions of the SBC SWe Edge and SBC Communication Service.
