SBC 5400 With One DSP25

The following matrix lists the maximum number of sessions between two codec types for an SBC 5400 equipped with one DSP25 module. The SBC 5400 can be configured with up to four DSP25 modules.

Note

Cells highlighted in the matrix below may be limited by bandwidth depending on packet size for the following DSP25 configurations/color combinations:

One DSP25: yellow
Two DSP25s: yellow, green
Three DSP25s: yellow, green, blue
Four DSP25s: yellow, green, blue, red

If more than one module is installed, multiply the values in the table below by a factor of two, three or four, as appropriate, to obtain approximate DSP density values. DSP density values are approximate and intended for use as a general guide when estimating transcoding capabilities.

Values associated with the same codec (i.e. like-codec to like-codec) refer to re-packetization.
