Use this section to view or edit the local ring back tone.

To View and Edit Local Ring Back Tone

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Tone And Announcement Profile > Local Ring Back Tone.

Select the desired Tone And Announcement Profile from the drop-down list to view its respective Local Ring Back Tone parameters.

The Local Ring Back Tone window is displayed.

Parameter Description

 Signaling Tone Package State

Specifies the administrative state of the Announcement Package:

  • enable
  • disable (default)
Signaling Tone PackageSpecifies the signaling tone package to be used for calls over the associated ingress and/or egress trunk group.
Precedence

When both the ingress and egress trunk groups have a local ring back tone associated with them, SBC uses this setting to determine which one to use. The options are:

  • lower (default)
  • higher
Make Inband Tone Available

If enabled, it will insert an in-band tone indicator (OBCI in the case of ISUP) in a backward message (for example, ACM) when playing local ring back. The options are:

  • disable (default)
  • enable

NOTE: You must enable makeInbandToneAvailable in order to use LRBT.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
