The EdgeMarc 4806 Intelligent Edge is a cost and functionality reduced version of the EdgeMarc 4808. It is designed to satisfy the needs of service providers offering SIP to TDM trunking over integrated access circuits with bandwidth up to 100 Mbps. The EdgeMarc 4806 replaces the EdgeMarc 4601, which only supports integrated access circuits with bandwidth less than 20 Mbps. The EdgeMarc 4806 Intelligent Edge is a future proof design enabling service providers to use the same device as a customer migrates from SIP to TDM trunking to SIP to SIP trunking or Hosted PBX. In these types of migrations, the EdgeMarc 4806 can be licensed to support up to 200 concurrent calls.
