You may have to configure the SS7 (T1/E1/J1) interfaces (ports) on the AMC348 card.

Note

If you are only provisioning M2PA, M2UA, or SUA links on your system, the you do not have to configure the SS7 (T1/E1/J1) interfaces (ports).

These interfaces may be set to

  • T1_D4 - configurable for 24 TDM channels with no cyclic redundancy (CRC) error check
  • T1_ESF - configurable for 24 TDM channels with cyclic redundancy (CRC) error check
  • E1 - configurable for 31 TDM channels with no CRC error check
  • E1_CRC4 - configurable for 31 TDM channels with CRC error check
  • J1 - configurable for 24 TDM channels at 1.5 Mbp/s with cyclic redundancy (CRC) error check
