The mandatory configuration task list for PCE is as follows:
- To create a public node to identify 2.2.2 (New York)
- To create a public node to identify 4.4.4 (Syracuse)
- To create a private node to identify 3.3.3 (Boston)
- To create a private node to identify 3.3.4 (Ann Arbor)
- To create a private node to identify 3.3.5 (Rhode Island)
- To create a public gateway to identify 5.5.5 (gateway)
- To create trunk records to identify NY to Boston through Gateway
Create trunk mapping records indicating public node, private node, public gateway, and CIC range as indicated in the following table.
Note
If TCAP traffic is initiated from the public network, then at least one of the TCAP handling features must be enabled (refer to TCAP Configuration). This example provides information for ISUP traffic only.
