If changes are made to the routing IP networking such that these changes affect the SS7 and/or Diameter stack, the appropriate changes would have to be made to the configuration in the affected applications (for example, M2PA links, M3UA servers, SP2000 nodes, and so on).

During the initial configuration process, you must configure the SP2000's hostname, domain name, and external networking. If you have to change any of the initially configured networking parameters, this section provides you with the required information.

The 3U/13U SP2000 only supports IPv4. The vSP2000 supports IPv4 and IPv6.
