A routeset is a set of signaling paths (in other words routes) from a given signaling point towards a specific destination with relative priority.

Note

It is recommended that you set the Broadcast TCA, TCP, TCR, TFA, TFP, TFR, and UPU to ENABLED.

To view a routeset state

  1. From the Main Menu, click MTP3.

  2. Click the required NA.

  3. Click Routesets.



  4. Click the routeset you want to view (see Table Routeset State and Destination State, Table Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ITU), and Table Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ANSI) for Routeset status message description).

 

Routeset State and Destination State

State Description
Routeset State
ACTIVE The routeset is active and available.
INACTIVE The routeset is inactive and is unavailable.
XLIST The routeset is an XLIST entry. XLIST indicates that the routeset was dynamically created by the MTP3 and has exceptions such as some routes may be unavailable.
Destination State
ACCESSIBLE The destination is accessible through the preferred (least expensive) route.
INACCESSIBLE The destination is not accessible.
ACCESSIBLE-ALT The destination is accessible through a route other than the preferred route.

Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ITU)

Congestion Description
TRUE The routeset is congested.
FALSE The routeset is not congested.

Routeset Congestion Level Status (SS7 Variant = ANSI)

Congestion Description
LEVEL1 The routeset is experiencing level 1 congestion.
LEVEL2 The routeset is experiencing level 2 congestion.
LEVEL3 The routeset is experiencing level 3 congestion.
FALSE The routeset is not congested
