The following list provides you with some questions you may ask yourself if you have any difficulties installing, launching, or processing traffic in the PCE. If you still have difficulties, contact Customer Support.

  • Are links enabled and available?

  • Are VNodes and routesets enabled and available?

  • What does the syslog indicate?

  • What does the debug log indicate?

  • Is there a VNode for each public destination in the private network?

  • Is there a VNode for each Public Gateway and GTT Tunnel?

  • Is there a routeset for each destination in its home network?

  • Does the PCE Statistics screen show messages lost for any reason or pattern?

  • Are the remote nodes sending messages to the appropriate destination on the PCE?

  • What do the logs on the remote node indicate?

  • Is traffic enabled at the MTP3, SCCP, and PCE?
