A new attribute in the SS7 variant is used to define the mate LPC on the given Network Appearance (NA). If the destination PC is unavailable and the opposite mate LPC is set, no deregistration is attempted but the state is kept. Availability of the mate LPC is kept for rerouting purposes.

Note

No Route Mappings can be defined in either SS7 variants when setting or modifying the SCCP Relay Mate LPC attribute. This restriction is required to properly hide attributes in the Route Mapping objects and to ensure proper routing configuration.

Note

If the mate LPC attribute is not set (SCCP Relay feature is disabled), the secondary and tertiary PCs are hidden at the UI for the Route Mapping objects (refer to Route Mapping Configuration Screen).

The primary Home PC is defined as the expected DPC while the primary Mirror PC is defined as the expected OPC. The secondary mirror PC is used for C-Link transfer. The secondary and tertiary Home PCs are used only for Route Mapping searches for incoming MSU OPCs.
