To add or modify a RADIUS Server:
The SBC supports IPv4 addresses for this feature; IPv6 is not supported.
Click the Create RADIUS Server() icon at the top of the RADIUS Servers Tablepage.
When Status-Server (RFC 5997) is selected in the Send Connectivity Packet Type list box:
When Request is selected in the Send Connectivity Packet type list box:
Specifies the IP Address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the RADIUS server.
Specifies the port over which the Sonus SBC 1000/2000 will communicate with the RADIUS server for authentication or accounting.
Status-Server (RFC 5997): Sends a Status-Server packet once each minute to verify network connectivity. Connectivity status is declared as Up when a response to the packet is successfully received, or declared as Down if no response is received.
Request: Sends an Access-Request or Accounting-Request packet, on demand, to verify the connectivity status. Connectivity status is declared as Up when a response to the packet is successfully received, or declared as Down if no response is received.
Specifies a text string used for authenticating with the RADIUS server.
