No system configuration changes should be made during an upgrade. If such a change is made, this change is not included in the new software release, and, therefore, the system may not behave as expected.
Before you start the software upgrade, it is assumed that you have completed the following tasks:
Completed a system backup for the SP2000 through the Web UI and stored it in a local directory
Resolved any issues that might occur during the pre-upgrade process (refer to Performing the Pre-Upgrade Check on Executing the Pre-upgrade Check).
NoteIf you have more than one issue that has to be resolved before you can start the software upgrade, find a resolution to each failed pre-upgrade check in the order these checks were presented. When all issues are resolved, execute the pre-upgrade check procedure from step 1.
