Managing EdgeView Users

This section describes how to add users and assign them to Collections which they are allowed to manage. Users are allowed to manage only their assigned Collections. The same Collection may be assigned to multiple users. When the user logs in to EdgeView, only the collections that are assigned to that user will be displayed. 

You can also assign “specific rights” to users based on their user roles. For example, you can provide view only rights for a user to a collection, which means you can view the devices in a collection, but cannot make any modifications to it. When the user logs in to EdgeView, the Collection list will show only the collections which are allowed to the user. Also, the user can only make changes to that collection if he has got Administrator rights to that collection.
