The LAN interface ports are pre-configured with the IP address 192.168.1.250.
If the device is using firmware 16.2.0 or later, the EdgeMarc 300 will attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP.
Please make sure that nothing besides your PC is connected to the LAN ports of the EdgeMarc 300.
- Connect LAN Port 4 to a PC using an Ethernet cable. Alternatively connect a LAN port on the EdgeMarc to an Ethernet switch.
- If the Edgemarc has not been connected to the LAN, give the PC the IP address of 192.168.1.2 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0. If the Edgemarc has been connected to the local LAN, the IP address on the Edgemarc will be an IP address derived from the DHCP pool serving local devices at the site. This may require that the PC be given IP address appropriate to the local LAN network.
- Launch a web browser on your computer and enter the URL http://192.168.1.250 or the DHCP-assigned address.
