For security reasons, change the BMC root password using the steps below:

  1. In BMC web application, navigate to Configuration > Users tab.

  2. Select the root user from the user list.

  3. Click Modify User. The Modify User screen is displayed.

  4. Select Change Password.
  5. Enter the Password and Confirm Password fields.

  6. Click Modify. A successful message appears on the screen. Click OK to continue.
