Data Interface | Choose an option from the Data Interface drop-down list: Primary or Secondary. Designate either the Primary or Secondary interface as the active interface for data. You can assign the same interface link type for both data and voice or choose different interface types for load balancing data and voice traffic across multiple links. By default, the data and voice interfaces are assigned to the Primary link. |
Voice Interface | Choose an option from the Voice Interface drop-down list: Primary or Secondary. Designate either the Primary or Secondary interface as the active interface for voice. You can assign the same interface link type for both data and voice or choose different interface types for load balancing data and voice traffic across multiple links. By default, the data and voice interfaces are assigned to the Primary link. |
Use the drop-down arrows to select the priority of available voice and data VLAN or non-VLAN interfaces. Click the up and down arrows to change the priority. - Status displays the current status of the interface:
- Red: Unavailable.
- Green: Available and active.
- White: Available but inactive.
- Link displays Primary and Secondary interface names.
- VLAN displays the VLAN ID of the VLAN. If the VLAN is not configured, this field is blank.
- IPv4 displays the IPv4 address of the interface.
- IPv6 displays the IPv6 address of the interface.
- Action changes the priority of each interface.

Enable WAN Link Redundancy | Select the check-box to enable or disable WAN link redundancy. |
Enable Revertive Mode | Select the check-box to activate automatic switchback between Primary and Secondary interfaces. Deselect the box to disable. (Optional) Non-revertive switchover for the Primary interface. If the Secondary interface is functioning as the active interface and the Primary interface becomes available, the system continues to use the Secondary interface and no switchover occurs. |
| Check this box to enable the use of the second WAN port. Refer to Configure WAN Failover Advanced Settings for configuring the second WAN interface. |
Switchover Interfaces | Select an option from the Switchover Interfaces drop-down list to configure the interfaces for WLR: - Data+Voice
- Data Only
- Voice Only
The default option is Data+Voice. Selecting the Data Only option allows data interface to switch over between the Primary and Secondary links, while the voice interface is fixed to its configured link. |
WAN Link Details Displays Primary and Secondary interface names and IP addresses: Primary Link Name Primary Link IPv4 Address Primary Link IPv6 Address Secondary Link Name Secondary Link IPv4 Address Secondary Link IPv6 Address |
Manual Switchover | Switches voice and data services from their currently active interfaces to their inactive interfaces when revertive mode is disabled. This results in a network restart. Note: Manual Switchover is only available when the system is configured in non-revertive mode. If the Secondary interface is functioning as the active interface, and the Primary interface becomes available, the system automatically switches back to the Primary interface as the active interface (making the Secondary interface inactive). For more information about restarting the network, choose Network > Network Restart and refer to Initiating Network Restart. |
WAN Failover Status Shows currently active voice and data information and describes whether the Primary and Secondary interfaces are up or down. The status is only visible when the WAN failover feature is enabled on the system. The status is displayed on the basis of link detection via IOCTL and the optional ping link detection mechanism: Current Active Data Interface—Primary or Secondary Current Active Voice Interface—Primary or Secondary Primary Link Status—Available or Unavailable Secondary Link Status—Available or Unavailable |
