In this section:
This section discuss the LEDs that are supported by the RMC670 μRTM Faceplate.
The following figure, RMC670 μRTM Faceplate, shows the RMC670 μRTM LEDS.
Refer to Telco Alarm LEDs on AMC671 MCH LEDS for Telco LED alarm behavior and LED states.
There is a 1 Gbps Ethernet data port, P4, available for use on the RMC670 µRTM front panel. The port has two LEDs that indicate the status of these connectors.
Although there are two (2) 1 Gbps Ethernet data ports (P3 and P4) on the RMC670 µRTM front panel, the P3 port is not used or supported by the DSC Platform.
The following table lists and describes these LED states.
There are two (2) 10 Gbps Ethernet ports, FP3 and FP4, available on the µRTM front panel. These ports have two (2) LEDs that indicate its status.
The following table lists and describes these LED states.
FP3 and FP4 are configured by the DSC Platform to operate at high bandwidth data rates. The lower link speeds, 10/100 Mbps, are not supported.
There is a 10 GbE switch base pipe port, BP2, on the RM670 μRTM faceplate that has two (2) Status LEDs to indicate link activity and speed (there is one (1) LED on the AMC671 MCH faceplate that indicates both link activity and speed for the BP2 port). See the following table for a description of the LED states.
The BP1 connector port is not used on the DSC 8000 system.
A 10/100Mbps Ethernet Management port is provided as a cross-connect between MCH1 and MCH2.
The following table lists and describes the LED states.
The In-Service (IS) and Out-of-Service (OOS) LEDs on the AMC µRTM front panel indicate the µRTM status.
The hot-swap LED is located on both the AMC671 MCH and RMC670 µRTM panels and their behavior is the same. For a description of this LED, see Hot-swap LED.
