Each fan tray (front and rear) provides a health/status LED on its front panel. The control card includes logic to set each fan tray health LED to the unhealthy state if any of the fans drop below the minimum speed required to maintain cooling under the current environmental operating conditions, or if the on-board voltage is not sufficient to maintain operation. The AMC671 MCH can also force the LED to the unhealthy state.
