Description

This alarm is generated when the PSX average call processing time for the last 50 calls exceeds the high threshold (100 milliseconds).
Possible failure reasons:

  • PSX CPU overload
  • PSX database fragmentation

Repetition

Yes. Repeats each time that the call processing time exceeds the high watermark; and continues to repeat after the alarm is cleared by sonusPolicyServerCallProcessTimeLowThresholdNotification as long as the high watermark is exceeded.

Action

Perform the following:

  1. Check to see if a process is loading down the CPU.
  2. Log onto PSX and type the following to execute the database diagnostic program:

    DbDiag.ksh S

    If database cleanup is needed, contact

    Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
    Global Product Support for assistance.
