In this section:

This section describes Transaction Language 1 (TL1) commands related to Gateway Screening and MSU Tracing (GWST).

Note

Verbs and modifiers are separated by hyphens ( - ), attribute fields (TID, AID, CTAG, and General Block) are separated by colons (:), and every command is terminated by a semicolon (;).

Any attribute that contains TL1 special characters [ equal signs ( = ), colons ( : ), dashes ( - ), and commas ( , ) ] should be enclosed in double quotes ( " ) to help the attribute values escape.

Adjacent Point Code - Position 2
Type: string
Description: Incoming Linkset adjacent point code. The APC supports standard PC Display format, range format (&&) and wildcard format (*). Default Wildcard format is '*' for JAPAN FF-FF and DECIMAL and '*.*.*' for all other Network/Cluster/Member PC formats. N/C/M notation supports digits, '*' and '&&' on any field of the PC format. FF-FF and DECIMAL supports ONLY digit or DEFAULT (single '*') format. Adjacent Point Code Example: - 1.2.3, 1.2&&5.*, 2.*.*, *.*.* for N/C/M format - 1234, 3456, * for DECIMAL format - ab-34, 56-cd, * for FF-FF format

Digits Prefix - Position 2
Type: string
Description: Allowed MAP IMSI prefix. Valid values: Hexadecimal string of up to 18 characters (0-9, A, B, C, D, E, and F), empty string (default), and NOT PRESENT. For an optional absent digits match, set the value to NOT PRESENT. The digits prefix is also used to define the MSISDN for certain MAP operation codes. The digits encoding includes the nature of address and numbering plan in BCD decoded string format. The digits prefix can also be defined as an IMEI for a given MAP operation code. See below for IMSI/MSISDN/IMEI supported TCAP operation codes. The ST digit (F), to indicate the end of the digits, is not required for the IMSI and must be omitted during provisioning. For MSISDN provisioning, the full hexadecimal values are allowed to support the nature of address and numbering plan encoding.
The IMSI/MSISDN/IMEI match must be a prefix match where the longest provisioned prefix is considered the best match. Only records with strings that are shorter or equal to the MSU value are considered for best string match.
Supported MAP messages for IMSI screening: - ProvideRoamingNumber - ProvideSubscriberInfo - ProvideSubscriberLocation (optional) - CancelLocation - InsertSubscriberData (optional) - DeleteSubscriberData - RemoteUserFree - Reset (optional ACV 3 only) - MO-ForwardSM (optional) - MT-ForwardSM (optional). The above are only screened on IMSI, regardless of it an MSISDN is present or not.
Supported MAP messages for MSISDN screening (there is no IMSI present) - UnstructuredSSNotify - UnstructuredSSRequest
Supported MAP message for IMEI screening (there is no IMSI present) - CheckIMEI
MAP messages which are not supported for IMSI screening but are processed at the Allowed MAP IMSI screening table are defined as a successful screening.
Note: The IMSI maximum length is 15 digits but the MSISDN has the nature of address and numbering plan for a maximum of 9 BCD bytes.
