Perform the following steps to upload an ISO file to the Datastore.

  1. Log on as user root on the VMware ESXi GUI.
    1. Enter your VMware administrator user name.
    2. Enter your VMware administrator password.

  2. Click Storage>Datastores.

  3. Click the datastore you want to configure.

  4. Click Datastore browser to open the Datastore browser window.

  5. Click Upload. Navigate to the ISO file and click Open. The file uploads to the datastore.

  6. Verify that the file uploaded successfully and click Close.
