Before You Start the Main Menu
Before you start the DSC - SP2000 Main Menu, it is assumed that you have completed the following tasks:
- installed the required licenses
- configured the required passwords
- can access the DSC - SP2000 Platform Main Menu
If you have not already completed these tasks and require information about performing the tasks, refer to the Installation Guides and the DSC - SP2000 Platform Manager User Guide
Main Menu
You can access all aspects of the Web UI with root user privileges (referred to in this document as a root user). The root user can create new users, and apply up to four profiles with various levels of read/write (RW) access.
The following table lists the various access levels to the DSC - SP2000 Platforms, SS7, and System Manager configuration utilities.
1ro = Read-only
2rw = Read and write
3DSC = applicable to the DSC Platform; SS7 = applicable to the SP2000 Platform.

Main Menu for the Web UI
The following figure shows the DSC Web UI Main Menu.
The Hardware, Hardware Monitor, and Switch Monitor configuration utilities are not supported for the DSC SWe.
The following figure shows the SP2000 Web UI Main Menu.
Main Menu for the Menu UI
The Menu UI is accessible through the IP Addresses of the DSC - SP2000 using an SSH session (refer to Configuring Secure Shell and Secure FTP).
The Menu UI is not supported for the DSC 8000 or the SP2000.
