For the SBC SWe systems, use the Swe Config Profile Selection window to select the configuration profile you want to use to specify provisioning limits for the system. Select the Small or Large profile based on the available RAM capacity for the system.

On the SBC main screen, go to All > SystemSwe Config Profile Selection. The Swe Config Profile Selection window opens.

Choose the profile you want to activate, and then click Save.
  • Extrasmall is applicable when the VM RAM is between 6 and 10 GiB.
  • Large is applicable when the VM RAM is greater than or equal to 18 GiB.
  • Largeuseracl – applicable when the VM RAM >=18 GiB
  • Small (default) is applicable when the VM RAM is greater than or equal to 10 GiB.
Note

Modified: for 10.1.2

The "Largeuseracl" profile is added in the 10.1.2 release.

For a profile change to take effect, you must reboot both nodes in the system, whereby all active calls are lost. The system prompts you to confirm that it will reboot before activating the profile change.

Note

When an instance comes up in an environment which has between 6 and 10 GiB of memory, the value for Swe Config Profile Selection is automatically set to Extrasmall. It is not valid to reconfigure a deployment from one of the larger sizes (Small, Large, or Largeuseracl) to the Extrasmall size.

For definitions of Large and Small provisioning limits, refer to SBC Provisioning Limits
For definitions of Extrasmall provisioning limits, refer to Small SBC SWe Deployment Characteristics.
