1. Choose SIP UA from the Configuration Menu.

  2. Scroll to Port Level Basic Configuration.

  3. Configure ports as needed:

    1. Enter a name in the SIP Display name field.

    2. Enter a username in the SIP Username field to identify the analog phone connected to the FXS port.

    3. In the SIP Authentication name field, enter the name that is used by the FXS port to authenticate itself.

      Note

      Enter information only if the Use SIP Username for SIP authentication box is NOT checked in Configuring Basic SIP UA FXS Settings.

    4. In the Password field, enter a password to authenticate the SIP UA against the softswitch or outbound proxy.

  4. Click Submit.
