9.0 to a previous release: A downgrade protection recovery partition has been included in Release 9.0 to simplify the booting process. As a result, you must downgrade 9.0 to a minimum downgrade release listed below: Current Release | Minimum Downgrade Release Allowed |

Before you begin
Prior to rolling back your upgrade, ensure that you have a backup of your data for the version you intend to rollback to.
Performing the Rollback
The
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
keeps its system software (firmware) in containers known as Application Partitions. There are two application partitions, one of which is Active. When the Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
is operational, it is running off of the Active Partition, and the remaining (inactive) partition serves as a spare.You can rollback to the previous
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
version stored in the inactive partition:- To roll back Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables", activate the inactive partition.
- Verify that you are booting from the new partition either by checking the active partition, or by Viewing the Software Version and Hardware ID (SBC 1000/2000, SBC SWe Edge).
- Restore the backup configuration data associated with the version to which you have downgraded.
This completes the rollback procedure.
