This section provides instructions to perform the actions mentioned above on 

Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
 devices via the 
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
. To perform these actions in 
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Choose Devices > List.

     devices list appears.

  2. Select the 

    Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
     device on which you want to perform the required action (see EdgeView Devices List image). The device Overview page appears.

Apply Collection Policy

Apply Collection Policy is active only when you make changes to the Policy of a Collection (to which the device belongs), or when you move the device to a Collection with a different policy.

Use Apply Collection Policy to push the new Policy changes to the device.

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Apply Collection Policy.

    You are prompted to confirm this action.

  2. Select CONTINUE to apply to the new policy changes to the device (see Confirm the Action image).

Configure

To configure the selected device, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Configure Device.

    The Configure Devices page appears.

  2. Make the necessary configuration changes (see Configure Devices page image).

    Tip

    You can also push a complete configuration from

    15 or higher to an
    Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
    . Select Click to select a file or drag it here to push new configurations to an
    Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
    .

    Tip

    Refer to Configure Parameter Values of this document to see in detail the Configuration Parameter Values. 

  3. Once you make necessary changes, select CONFIGURE 1 DEVICE (see Configure Devices page image). You are prompted to confirm configuration changes.

  4. Select CONFIGURE NOW to configure the selected device (see Confirm Configuration changes image).

Configure SD-WAN

To perform SD-WAN configuration, follow the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Configure SD-WAN.

    The Configure SD-WAN page appears.

  2. Make the necessary configuration changes and then select CONFIGURE SD-WAN ON 1 DEVICE to save the changes (see Configure SD-WAN screen image).

    Tip

    For more details on configuring SD-WAN, refer to Deploying SD-WAN on EdgeMarc Device.

Configure PoE

Note

 This action is available only for PoE devices.

To configure PoE, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Configure PoE.

    The Configure PoE page appears.

  2. Make the necessary configuration changes (see Configure PoE page image).

    Refer to PoE Configuration Parameter Values to see in detail the PoE configuration parameter values.

  3. Once you make the necessary changes, CONFIGURE POE (see Configure PoE page image). You are prompted to confirm PoE configuration changes.

  4. Select CONFIGURE NOW to configure PoE (see Confirm PoE Configuration image).

Open Device GUI

To open 

Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
 device GUI, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Open Device GUI.

    A new browser tab opens.

    Enter Login Credentials

    Note

    Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
    15 does not support multiple concurrent sessions Open Device GUI.

Upgrade

To perform upgrade, follow the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Upgrade Firmware.

    The Upgrade Firmware page appears.

  2. Under the Included Devices table, select the firmware version to which you want to upgrade the device (see Upgraded Firmware page image).

    Tip

    Enable the Send notification once Upgrade is completed check-box if you want to receive notifications.

  3. Click UPGRADE 1 DEVICE (see Upgrade Firmware page image). You are prompted to confirm upgrade.

  4. Select UPGRADE NOW to upgrade the selected device (see Confirm Upgrade image).

Edit

To edit your device, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Edit Device.

    The Edit Device dialog box appears.

  2. Edit the Name and Description and click SAVE (see Edit Device dialog box image).

Move

To move your device, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Move to Collection.

  2. Choose the collection to which you want to move the selected device (see Move devices page image).

    Tip

    Enable the Send notification once Upgrade is completed check-box if you want to receive notifications.

  3. Select MOVE 1 DEVICE once you chose a collection (see Move devices page image).

Delete

To delete devices, perform the steps given below:

  5. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Delete Device.

  6. Select DELETE 1 DEVICE to delete the device (see Delete Devices page image).You are prompted to confirm deletion.

  7. Select DELETE NOW to delete the selected device (see Confirm Deletion image).

Run Health Report

To Run Health Report, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Run Health Report.

    The Run Health Report page appears.

  2. Select RUN HEALTH REPORT FOR 1 DEVICE to run health report (see Run Health Report page image). You are prompted to confirm the health report run.

  3. Click RUN HEALTH REPORT NOW to run the health report (see Confirm Health Report Run image).

Backup

To backup the selected device, perform the following steps:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Backup Configuration.

    The Backup Configuration page appears.

    Tip

    Enable the Send notification once Upgrade is completed check-box if you want to receive notifications.

  2. Select BACKUP 1 DEVICE to backup your device (see Backup Devices page image). You are prompted to confirm backup.

  3. Select BACKUP NOW to backup the selected device (see Confirm Backup image).

Restore

You can restore your device to a previous backup point using this action. In order to restore your device to a previous backup point, you must have your

device backed up earlier.

Note

You can only restore your

device to available backup points.

To restore the selected 

Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
device, perform the following steps:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Restore Configuration.

    The Restore Configuration page appears.

  2. In the Included Devices table, choose the backup point to which you want to restore the device (see  Restore Devices page  image).

    Tip

    Enable the Send notification once Upgrade is completed check-box if you want to receive notifications.

  3. Select RESTORE 1 DEVICE to backup your device (see Restore Devices page image). You are prompted to confirm the restore operation.

  4. Select RESTORE NOW to restore the selected device (see Confirm Restore image).

Change Passwords

To change the password, perform the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Change Passwords.

    The Change Passwords page appears.

  2. You can change one or all of the following fields (see Change Passwords page image):

      • Root Password
      • GUI User Root
      • GUI User Rouser

    Select Set all as and then Root PasswordGUI User Root and/or GUI User Rouser .

    Note

    The password must contain alphanumeric and special characters and should be 6 to 8 characters in length. 

  3. Once you make the necessary changes, click CHANGE PASSWORD FOR 1 DEVICE (see Change Passwords page image). You are prompted to confirm the password change.

  4. Select CHANGE PASSWORD NOW to change the password(s) of the selected device.

Reboot

To perform reboot, follow the steps given below:

  1. On the Device Overview page under the ACTIONS menu, select Reboot.

    The Reboot Devices page appears.

    Tip

    Enable the Send notification once Upgrade is completed check-box if you want to receive notifications.

  2. Click REBOOT 1 DEVICE (see Reboot Devices page image). You are prompted to confirm reboot.

  3. Click REBOOT NOW to reboot the selected device (see Confirm Reboot image).
