After creating VM, you have to adjust the VM resources depending on the For VMware.

Adjust the resource by executing the following steps:

  1. Click your VM name. Click Resource Allocation tab. Click Edit in the CPU box.

    Selecting Resource Allocations

  2. Reserve CPU speed. For requirements details, see For VMware.

    1. Select Resources tab and select CPU as shown.

    2. From Resource Allocation section, set Reservation value by clicking up/down arrows or dragging the Reservation bar.

Set CPU reservation to equal physical processor CPU speed multiplied by number of vCPUs assigned to VM.

For example, For the 4 CPUs configuration with a processor of 2.99 GHz CPU frequency, it reserves "2992 * 4 = 11968 MHz".

    3. Ensure Unlimited check box is checked.
