In some scenarios where the customer would have already installed an ISO as a part of POC or test environment with an older SWe release (say 4.2.1R). But sometimes require to install or deploy a new ISO installation of SWe in Production with later release (say 4.2.3R) build. In such a case, the customer needs to re-install the ISO.
Follow the below steps to re-install the ISO:
Click your VM instance name. Right-click and select Edit Settings.

Click Options tab. Click Boot Options. Check the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

- Click Hardware tab. Click CD/DVD drive 1.
Click Browse... Select the ISO image software file. For example, the ISO file name is sbc-V05.01.00A503-connexip-os_03.01.00-amd64.iso. Click OK.
Check the Connect at power on option and click OK.

Select VM Name. Click Power>Power On. BIOS setup window appears.
Boot Option
Click Boot tab, to change the boot order by selecting "CD-ROM Drive" as the first option.

Press F10 to Save and Exit. A setup confirmation appears. Click Yes to save and exit.

The Connex IP OS Window appears. Select Install option and click Enter.

- After the setup is run successfully. Click Edit Settings.
Click Hardware tab . Click CD/DVD drive 1. Uncheck the Connect at power on option and click OK.

Click Options tab. Click Boot Options. Check the Force BIOS Setup option and click OK.

Make sure that you change the boot order back to its original. Press F10 to Save and exit and to power back your VM.
