Use the licenseMode command to specify the type of licensing that applies to your system. By default license mode is set to legacy. This is the only license mode supported on hardware-based systems and is also appropriate for most SWe deployments.

In some OpenStack cloud environments, SBC SWe supports a licensing model referred to as network-wide domain licensing (NWDL). If you have arranged to use NWDL, you can use this command to change to domain license mode when you have prepared the system for this type of licensing.

Caution:

The NWDL license bundle must be installed before or at the same time you change the license mode to domain. Changing license mode without a NWDL license bundle installed will result in a service outage.

Command Syntax

% set system licenseMode mode <domain | legacy | network>
