The information received through X-headers are mapped to ISUP parameters. A default X-header profile is available in

Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
, which has the values pre- seeded for all the mandatory parameters. This profile cannot be deleted or modified. The user can create additional X-Header profiles whose values may be changed as required.

To View XHeader Profile

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > XHeader Profile.

The XHeader Profile window is displayed.

To Edit XHeader Profile

To edit any of the XHeader Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile name.

The Edit Selected XHeader Profile window is displayed below.

You would not be able to make any changes as the filed are read-only.

To Create XHeader Profile

To create a new XHeader Profile, click New XHeader Profile tab on the XHeader Profile List panel.

The following fields are displayed:

X-Header Profile Parameters

Parameter

Description

NameSpecifies the unique name of the XHeader profile. The field supports up to 23 characters.

To Copy XHeader Profile

To copy any of the created XHeader Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile to highlight the row.

Click Copy XHeader Profile tab on the XHeader Profile List panel.

The Copy Selected XHeader Profile window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

The following fields are displayed:

X-Header Flags Profile

Parameter

Description

NameSpecifies the unique name of the XHeader profile. The field supports up to 23 characters.
X-Header Flags

Send Suspend

Specifies whether the ISUP messages with SUSPEND message type should be interworked to the SIP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Recv Suspend

Specifies whether the INFO messages with SUSPEND message type should be interworked to the ISUP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Send Resume

Specifies whether the ISUP messages with RESUME message type should be interworked to the SIP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Recv Resume

Specifies whether the INFO messages with RESUME message type should be interworked to the ISUP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Send Cfn

Specifies whether the ISUP messages with CONFUSION message type should be interworked to the SIP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Recv Cfn

Specifies whether the INFO messages with CONFUSION message type should be inter worked to the ISUP side or not.

The options are:

  • disabled
  • enabled

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied XHeader Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original XHeader Profile in the XHeader Profile List panel.

To Delete XHeader Profile

To delete any of the created XHeader Profile, click the radio button next to the specific XHeader Profile which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific XHeader Profile from the list.
