Configuring SBC 5400 NTP Server Settings

The BMC web application allows provisioning of NTP server.

The following procedure describes how to configure the NTP server using BMC:

1. Log on to the SBC BMC using the IP address configured in the previous section and with the following credentials:

   username: root
   password: superuser

   The SBC BMC Main window is displayed:

2. Click Configuration > NTP and Date Time Settings.

3. Select Automatically synchronize Date & Time with NTP Server option.

4. Enter the Primary NTP Server and Secondary NTP Server (not mandatory) IP addresses.

5. Click Save.

The NTP Server IP is synchronized to the SBC server. The same IP address displays in the Install Software section of EMA.
