Use this window to work with CPC-to-SIP cause mapping profiles on the node. These profiles can be assigned to SIP trunk groups and map SIP status codes to internal CPC (Call Processing Component) cause codes.The SBC provides four mapping profiles by default that you can assign to a trunk group. The default profiles cannot be modified or deleted. Alternatively, you can create custom mapping profiles which you can assign to trunk groups.
To View SIP To CPC Cause Map Profiles
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > SIP Cause Code Mapping > SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile. The SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile window opens.

To Create a SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile
To create a new SIP To CPC cause map profile:
Click New SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile. The Create New SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile window opens.

- Use the following table to enter general parameters for the profile and click Save.

Parameter | Description |

Name | The name of the new SIP to CPC cause map profile. |
Base Profile | The name of one of the four default cause map profiles to base the new profile on. These SIP-to-CPC base profiles are: - Default SIP CPC—current default Sonus mappings.
- Defaul tQ1912SIP CPC—based on Q1912.5.
- Default Rfc3398SIP CPC—based on RFC3398.
- Default Ts29163SIP CPC—based on 3GPP TS 29.163

Cancel Cause | The Q850 cause value that the SIP CANCEL message should generate. The default value is 16. The range allowed is 1-127. |
Cause Map | Specifies the SIP-to-CPC cause mapping values. The possible values are: 400 401 402 403 404 405 406 407 408 410 413 414 415 416 420 421 423 480 481 482

To Edit a SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile
The default profiles cannot be edited. To edit a SIP To CPC cause map profile you added:
- Click the radio button next to the name of the profile you want to edit. The Edit Selected SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile window opens.
- Make the required changes and click Save.
To Delete a SIP To CPC Cause Map Profile
The default profiles cannot be deleted. To delete any of the SIP To CPC cause map profile you added:
- Click the radio button next to the specific SIP To CPC cause map profile you want to delete.
- Click the X at the end of the row to delete.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
