After creating VM, adjust the VM resources according to the details on the page
.
Adjust the resource by executing the following steps:
Click your VM name. Click Resource Allocation tab. Click Edit in the CPU box.
Reserve CPU speed. For requirements details, see For VMware.
Select Resources tab and select CPU as shown.
From Resource Allocation section, set Reservation value by clicking up/down arrows or dragging the Reservation bar.
Set CPU reservation to equal physical processor CPU speed multiplied by number of vCPUs assigned to VM.
For example, For the 4 CPUs configuration with a processor of 2.99 GHz CPU frequency, it reserves "2992 * 4 = 11968 MHz".
Reserve minimum memory. For requirements details, see For VMware.
Select Resources tab and select Memory as shown.
From Resource Allocation section, set Reservation value by clicking up/down arrows or dragging the Reservation bar.
Use 20 GB RAM for large configurations and 17 GB RAM for small configurations. Refer to SBC SWe Performance Metrics for more information on memory required for different call capacities.
Select Advanced CPU. Use default values for Hyperthreaded Core Sharing Mode and Scheduling Affinity.
This changes takes effect only after VM reboots.
