Back to Packet Service Profile - T38

This profile specifies whether to allocate DSP resources, when available, for T.38  Error Correction Mode (ECM) calls.

To View and Edit Ecm

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Packet Service Profile > T38 > Ecm.

Select the desired Packet Service Profile from the drop-down list to view its respective Ecm parameters.

The Ecm window is displayed.

The

allocates an Error Correction Mode (ECM)-capable DSP resource for the leg of the call to which this PSP is assigned. When cleared,
Unable to show "metadata-from": No such page "_space_variables"
uses normal resource allocation.

  • enabled—allocate an ECM-capable DSP resource for the call.
  • disabled (default)—use normal resource allocation.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
