Configuration files are .cli files which are used to store parameter values for a particular CLI configuration on the SBC. When required, these configuration files can be used to set up SBC through EMA GUI for the required configuration without going to each window and changing the parameter values manually. Each configuration file stores one particular type of configuration and is used to configure SBC only for that configuration.

The Configurations tab allows the administrator and users to view the current CLI configuration on the SBC, as well provides the tools to import and export configurations.

On SBC main screen, go to Administration > System Administration > Configuration Import/Export. The Configurations window is displayed.

Configuration Window

The first panel allows you to search any specific configurations with the help of file name or search all the configuration between a period of time using From and To dates.

The second panel lists all the available configurations that are currently running on SBC.

To delete any configuration file, check the required configuration file on the second panel and click Delete Configuration  at the end of the row.

You can:

  • Create Configuration file for current configurations
  • Download Configuration to disk
  • Upload Configuration to SBC
  • Install Configuration over existing Configuration
  • Import Template

The fourth panel is Status Monitor panel which provides an update on the any actions performed on this window.

Password and security-related information (cryptos, hash keys, default objects) are not exported.
