Use the TCP Port Range window to specify the range of port numbers allowed for TCP media for the system. This port range is used by the SBC to advertise the TCP ports on which it can accept connections. A unique unused port from this range is included in the SDP media line in the offer or answer sent towards an MSRP UA. Refer to MSRP Session Setup for more information.

On the SBC main screen, go to All > System > Media > TCP Port Range. The TCP Port Range window is displayed.

Use the following table to configure the options and then click Save.

TCP Port Range Parameters

Parameter Description
Base Server Port  Specifies the minimum port number for TCP media. The value ranges from 1 to 65534 and the default value is 1024.
Max Server Port Specifies the maximum port number for TCP media. The value ranges from 1 to 65534 and the default value is 65534.
