Back to Call Routing: System Provisioning - Profiles

In this section:

This object is used to provision numbering plans for digit analysis.

To View Numbering Plan

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Call Routing > Profiles > Numbering Plan. The Numbering Plan window is displayed.

To Edit Numbering Plan

To edit any of the Numbering Plan in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Numbering Plan name.

The Edit Selected Numbering Plan window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Numbering Plan

To create a new Numbering Plan, click New Numbering Plan tab on the Numbering Plan List panel.

The Create New Numbering Plan window is displayed.

The following fields are displayed:

Numbering Plan Parameters

Parameter

Description

Name

A unique identifier for the numbering plan.

Prefix Profile

Select the prefix profile from the drop-down list. The prefix profile is used for call analysis.

The numbering plans below are default plans, but you can also create your own numbering plans.

  • CHINA_NUM_PLAN
  • GENERIC_NUM_PLAN
  • GERMANY_NUM_PLAN
  • INDIA_NUM_PLAN
  • ITALY_NUM_PLAN
  • JAPAN_NUM_PLAN
  • MEXICO_NUM_PLAN
  • NANP_ACCESS
  • UK_NUM_PLAN

To Copy Numbering Plan

To copy any of the created Numbering Plan and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Numbering Plan to highlight the row.

Click Copy Numbering Plan tab on the Numbering Plan List panel.

The Copy Selected Numbering Plan window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Numbering Plan is displayed at the bottom of the original Numbering Plan in the Numbering Plan List panel.

To Delete Numbering Plan

To delete any of the created Numbering Plan, click the radio button next to the specific Numbering Plan which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific Numbering Plan from the list.
