The Tone Profile entity is used to create node for tone profile. Following are the tone profiles:

To View Tone Profile

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Tone Profile.

The Tone Profile window is displayed.

To Edit Tone Profile

To edit any of the Tone Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Tone Profile name.

The Edit Selected Tone Profile window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Tone Profile

To create a new Tone Profile, click New Tone Profile tab on the Tone Profile List panel.

Modulated Tone—Configuration of modulated tone.

Make1

Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously.

Break1

Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences.If -1, then silence is generated continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences. If -1, then silence is generated continuously.

Make2

Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously.

Break2

Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences.If -1, then silence is generated continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences. If -1, then silence is generated continuously.

Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first on cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then the duration of the first on cadence is 0 msec. If -1, then the tone is played continuously.

Break3

Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences.If -1, then silence is generated continuously. Enter value in range of (-1..8000). Duration of the first off cadence in milliseconds. If 0, then silence is not generated between the on cadences. If -1, then silence is generated continuously.

Repeat

Number of overall cadence (1, 2, and 3 in sequence) cycles to generate. If 0, then the tone pattern is repeated indefinitely.

Repeat1

Number of cadence 1 cycles to generate. If 0, then the tone pattern is repeated indefinitely.

Repeat2

Number of cadence 2 cycles to generate. If 0, then the tone pattern is repeated indefinitely.

Repeat3

Number of cadence 2 cycles to generate. If 0, then the tone pattern is repeated indefinitely.

To Copy Tone Profile

To copy any of the created Tone Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Tone Profile to highlight the row.

Click Copy Tone Profile tab on the Tone Profile List panel.

The Copy Selected Tone Profile window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Tone Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original Tone Profile in the Tone Profile List panel.

To Delete Tone Profile

To delete any of the created Tone Profile, click the radio button next to the specific Tone Profile which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click OK to remove the specific Tone Profile from the list.
